I’m a former environmental lawyer turned romance author. After working for non-profit organizations for many years, I began writing romance novels under the name Mary Whitney. I always knew that I wanted to write a novel based on my mother’s story, so I devoted the last few years to writing Good Town. I’m a born Midwesterner, Naturalized Texan, and now a longtime Californian. I live with my husband, two children, and our crazy rescue dog, Roxy.
